OVERVIEW:

Kaleidescape is seeking a highly motivated training professional to provide leveraged educational materials for our sales channel. This individual will work closely with the sales, support, marketing and engineering teams to provide best-in-class online training for our network of dealers and distributors worldwide.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute our roadmap for technical and sales training for our dealer channel
  • Develop the necessary online training modules, through:
    • Preparing a brief outline of the module
    • Revising the outline with stakeholders until it is approved
    • Mastering the subject matter through communication with subject matter experts, personal experimentation, and other related research
    • Drafting the full presentation and script, and circulating for review
    • Conducting live webinar sessions for dealers and account managers to solicit and incorporate feedback prior to production
    • Managing recording and production of training modules, working with in-house and contract production staff as appropriate
    • Securing executive and legal approval
    • Publishing the module on our Dealer Extranet
    • Communicating the availability of materials as they become available
  • Establish and monitor metrics for training program
  • Provide regular reports to sales staff on the progress of training of dealers within their territory
  • Solicit and incorporate dealer feedback to improve training material
  • Maintain and improve curriculum commensurate with new products and services from Kaleidescape

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Precise command of the English language

  • Experience with Camtasia Studio or similar presentation software
  • A working knowledge of cinema and television (desired)
  • A working knowledge of the custom electronics, home theater, and residential system integration market(s) (desired)

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 3 years of experience in online adult education preferred. Equivalent experience in custom electronics may be an acceptable substitute for the right candidate
