POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated and team-oriented individual for this Sales Manager position. In this key position, you will be responsible for planning, developing and managing our custom electronics audio visual (A/V) distributor and dealer relationships to promote and install Kaleidescape Systems in their installed base (retrofit) as well as on their new residential/marine/avionic projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop business relationships with existing distributors to increase sales velocity and awareness of Kaleidescape Systems to meet and exceed personal and Company revenue and growth targets.
- Prospect, develop, educate, and support custom electronics A/V distributors and dealers.
- Increase Kaleidescape sales in the region through training and end-user events organized by distributors and dealers within the territory.
- Build strong business relationships with key automation companies such as Crestron, AMX, Phillips Pronto, B&O and others.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing programs customized to meet the needs of the sales territory.
- Effectively communicate internally distributor and dealer requirements and end-user feedback.
- Attend end-user events to assist distributors and dealers in promoting Kaleidescape products, including dealer seminars, boat shows, individual client demonstrations, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A proven track record of industry experience and outstanding sales achievement.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the custom installation and home networking industry.
- Strong Technical Background preferred – experience as a Sales Engineer is highly desirable.
- Proven success developing and executing sales programs that promote products to distributors, residential systems dealers, custom installers and A/V system integrators.
- Business savvy, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent sales relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with national and regional organizations such as CEDIA.

- Languages: fluent in spoken and written English and fluency in one or more other major European languages strongly preferred.
- Willing and able to travel up to 60-75% of the time; occasional international travel such as to attend corporate meetings and major industry events.
