Factory Download Service | Existing Library

Kaleidescape now makes it easy for existing customers to have their movie library factory downloaded to their new Strato or Terra system prior to shipment. This is great for current customers who are purchasing additional Kaleidescape systems for second homes and want their entire movie library available the day they receive it. (A nominal download service fee applies.)

How this service works

When preparing a quote or order for a new system, add part MSLBRY – Factory Download Service for Your Existing Library to the order to indicate that the customer would like to have their existing movie library downloaded at the factory prior to shipment.

Once the payment for the order is confirmed, Kaleidescape Order Processing will release the order to stage the new Strato movie player or Terra movie server for content download at the factory. The customer will receive an email with information about the Factory Download Service. They will also receive an email with a link to activate their system. The date this email is sent will be considered the “start date” for how this process works.

Once the system is activated, the customer will need to register the new system to their existing movie store account. The customer has seven calendar days (“selection period”) from the “start date” above to activate the system and register it to their store account so that their movie library can be downloaded to the new system prior to shipment.
