Can I access the browser interface remotely?

Yes, you can use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to gain secure remote access to the browser interface of your Kaleidescape System. Once you are authenticated on a VPN, you effectively join the local network, with any data you send across the Internet within the VPN encrypted for security. We recommend that you do not enable port forwarding on your router so that your router can block devices inside your network from outside attempts to access them.

Unlike a Premiere system, the majority of settings on Kaleidescape Alto and Cinema One (2nd generation) are located on the onscreen display. Remote access to the browser interface may not provide the access you are looking for.
