Can I disable imports and cataloging on certain players?
The ability to catalog a disc can be disabled on Kaleidescape Alto, Cinema One, an M500 Player, a 1080p Player or a Movie Player 2, and the ability to import a disc can be disabled on all of these devices except for Kaleidescape Alto. Disabling the ability to import or catalog a disc is useful for playback-only zones such as guest rooms or a child’s room. When this ability is disabled, it is still possible to play back a movie direct from the disc by placing it in the tray or slot of a player.
