Can I send my failed server for repair?
Customers should refer to a Kaleidescape dealer for troubleshooting assistance and solutions, including trade-up options, for a failed server.
The Kaleidescape ‘repair’ option is to replace the failed component with a –R (re-manufactured) component, if available. The remainder of the existing warranty (or 90-days if there are less than 90 days on the existing warranty) will apply to the replacement component. If the failed component is out-of-warranty, –R replacement components include a 2-year warranty.
Dealers may alternatively arrange a trade-up to a new Strato or Terra component with a 5-year warranty. (New Premiere components come with 3-year warranties.)
