Can I use a wireless network with a Kaleidescape player?

Kaleidescape strongly recommends the use of a wired Ethernet connection whenever possible. Wireless and power line connections work well for providing Internet access to the Kaleidescape System, for connecting control systems, and for accessing the browser interface from a computer.

Kaleidescape Alto and Cinema One (2nd generation) include a wireless USB adapter that can be used to access the Internet, or in the case of Cinema One, it can be used to link to a DV700 Disc Vault or M700 Disc Vault. When Kaleidescape Alto is linked to one or more Kaleidescape Alto players, or when Cinema One is linked to a second Cinema One, the wireless USB adapter cannot be used and a wired Ethernet connection is strongly recommended.
