Enabling HDMI CEC will now also enable the volume controls on the remote tab of the IOS and Android mobile apps allowing volume control within the app without requiring a 3rd party control system.
Ensure that the correct standby synchronization setting has been selected in the player’s HDMI CEC settings. Refer to the tables above for more details.
Some displays (for example, LG displays) must be configured to power on to the most recently used input for the display to turn on when the Strato leaves standby.
Ensure that the correct standby synchronization setting has been selected in the player’s HDMI CEC settings. Refer to the tables above for more details.
LG displays currently ignore HDMI CEC volume commands.
Some display remotes include four color buttons. In kOS these buttons have been mapped to HDMI CEC commands as follows:
NOTE: Some display devices may require additional settings tweaks to enable support for these commands. For example, on Samsung displays, you may need to enable the "Input Settings Plus" feature on the HDMI port to which the Strato is connected.
