Sales Account Manager
LOCATION:
South California: Los Angeles, Long Beach; South Nevada
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a high-energy, self-motivated and team-oriented individual for a Sales Account Manager position based in Southern California/Nevada.
In this key position, you will be responsible for planning, developing and managing our custom electronics audio visual (A/V) dealer relationships to promote and install Kaleidescape Systems in their installed base as well as on their new residential projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect, develop, educate, and support custom electronics A/V dealers to increase their awareness and mindshare for Kaleidescape Systems.
- Increase Kaleidescape’s sales in the region through training and end-user events by dealers within the sales territory.
- Initiate and build strong sales relationships with key residential architects, interior designers, and whole-house automation programmers for Crestron, AMX and others.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing programs customized to meet the needs of the sales territory.
- Effectively communicate internally dealer requirements and end-user feedback.
- Attend end-user events to assist dealers in promoting Kaleidescape products, including dealer seminars, boat shows, individual client demonstrations, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A proven track record of industry experience and outstanding sales achievement.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in the custom installation and home networking industry.
- Proven success developing and executing sales programs that promote products to residential systems dealers, custom installers and A/V system integrators.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with national and regional organizations such as CEDIA, HTSA, PARA, etc.
