JOB DUTIES:

Kaleidescape is looking to hire an innovative, successful product manager to manage the family of Kaleidescape products and its components. The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for understanding new requirements for the product, through interactions with sales, dealers, executive staff and through market research. The individual will understand the business opportunities and work with stakeholders and exec staff within company to generate a priority list for requirements. The individual will work closely with the engineering team and exec staff to author requirements docs for new features, capabilities and specifications. The individual will work closely with finance and executive staff to understand pricing and forecast expectations. And then the individual will work with sales, marketing, support and training team to communicate new capabilities to the outside world.

The individual will need to work efficiently and gain credibility across all organizations and be required to effectively communicate with sales, marketing, support, manufacturing engineering, training and executive staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ethics, humility, integrity, high level of intelligence and accountability.
  • Excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Understanding of complex product lines, involving hardware, software, networking & content.
  • Proven experience as a driving force developing new products and features.
  • Passion for a very collaborative environment.
  • Experience in start-up rapid growth technology companies.
  • Product Planning: Requirements, documentation, research, trade-off's, pricing, enhancements/upgrades, roadmap.
  • Business Planning: Market research, competitive analysis, forecast, market segmentation.
  • Go To Market Planning: Positioning, presentations, sales tools, training, support, promotions.
  • Product lifecycle management. Demonstrated ability to follow established lifecycle process.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 5+ years of experience in defining, managing and launching hardware and software products as a Product Manager.
  • Past experience in consumer electronics or A/V manufacturing companies preferred.
