WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Kaleidescape is seeking a senior software engineer to work on all aspects of the proprietary storage subsystem for the Kaleidescape server. Candidates will be responsible for developing, optimizing and debugging software components such as RAID, log-structured filesystem, disk backplane abstraction layer, and network file service. They will also be responsible for designing and prototyping new storage subsystem functionalities.

Candidates should have a related University degree or equivalent, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong attention to details, filesystem programming experience, multi-threaded programming experience, and a strong desire to create high quality products. Experience with some of the following is an asset:

• Embedded real-time microkernel operating systems
• Highly concurrent thread-based architecture
• C++, Linux, GNU toolchain
