THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Program Manager will continually develop and improve our product development activities. This role will focus on integrated activity and resource planning, schedule development and tracking, product team collaboration, and engineering excellence through best practices.
The Program Manager will work with the Engineering and Product Management teams to establish plans with clear performance indications and baseline control, improve product plan estimates, enhance product decision transparency, and focus on product team collaboration in the areas of product requirements, vendor relationships, reporting channels, dealer relationships and release descriptions. This role will also help establish program performance metrics.
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
Success in this position relies on several years of project management experience working with both software and hardware professionals, and relevant post-secondary education.
The Program Manager will be expected to bring or build experience with the following:
- High proficiency in establishing and using project management systems, including Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with feature and issue tracking systems, especially Jira.
- Expertise in Hardware development methodologies and lifecycles.
- Familiarity with software development processes such as Agile, Waterfall, and Extreme Programming.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools & technology, especially for remote teaming.
- Familiarity with Project Management techniques.
- Multiple product/project stream project management.
- Coordination of cross-functional teams.
- Experience with new product design project management.
